I've been passionate about working creatively for as long as I can remember.  I love art in all forms, but am especially in love with photography.  I began studying photography (digital & film!) in high school. I continued pursuing this passion in college where I earned my bachelor's degree in studio art then earned my master's degree in art education from Christopher Newport University.
I have worked to grow my business since my first days in college.
I love being able to take those lifelong skills and use them to serve others through my photo work.

My photographic style is a fusion of fine-art and documentary.
I love guiding my clients with prompts (not stiff poses!) to create natural, true-to-life images that feel like you. I want your gallery to be filled with wall-worthy images. A mix of beautiful, fine-art portraiture as well as raw, everyday natural moments. Your true smiles and genuine laughter.  

I love shooting film! I shoot on a classic camera from the 1950s and love when my clients choose to include film coverage! It's such a magical, nostalgic medium.
