Colonial Williamsburg Engagement Photographer

I love when I get to capture the engagement session AND the proposal!!
This Colonial Williamsburg engagement session was just perfect.

We had lots of fun just walking around, talking and laughing. I always like to help my couples feel comfortable right away. My photography style is documentary, so I like my photos to look natural, not stiff or too posed. With that said, I always help my couples with posing guidance! I give them a pose together to begin with, and then we flow through other poses from there!

These photos were taken just a few days before Christmas (an engagement ring could be the most special Christmas gift of all!) so you’ll notice the beautiful festive decorations around Colonial Williamsburg added to the feel of the season!

These next photos are some of my favorite from the whole session! I kept saying I felt like I was inside a Hallmark Christmas Movie. These two are so sweet and their joy is truly contagious.

This is one of my favorite areas in Colonial Williamsburg. Through every season, it’s a perfect backdrop and always gets beautiful light.

Some scenic photos while they did their outfit change :). I also like adding in a few photos like this to a gallery to tell the story of the place.

Another area I love! It gives a completely different vibe to the photos.
I love shooting in Colonial Williamsburg because there are soo many nice areas to add such great variety to your photos!
