1. Illy Café
Located right along Prince George Street, Illy Café is one of my go-to stops for coffee. I love traveling to Italy, and stepping into Illy instantly transports me there – the aroma, the espresso, the style. It’s the perfect stop before a morning session or to take a drink to go while strolling through Colonial Williamsburg.

2. The Bake Shop
If you want amazing pastries or a warm breakfast bagel sandwich, head straight to The Bake Shop. Everything is baked fresh daily, and their creative, ever-changing menu makes it a great stop year-round. I always recommend this one to early morning clients! They have GREAT coffee options as well. I always love seeing what new options are on the menu.

3. Blue Talon Bistro
This French-inspired bistro is one of my favorite places to sit out on the patio in spring or fall with friends. Their brunch menu is always a hit—especially if you’re craving something hearty, classic, and delicious. The vibe is relaxed and charming, just steps away from many of my photo session locations.

You truly can’t go wrong with a lunch at The Cheese Shop. My order? The Prosciutto & Provolone sandwich, a fun bag of kettle chips, and a glass of wine from their wine cellar – then grab a seat outside and enjoy some of the best people-watching in town. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer. A Williamsburg VA staple.

5. Amber Ox Public House
Amber Ox has quickly become one of my top recommendations for dinner in Williamsburg. Their seasonal, farm-to-table menu is fantastic, and the unique cocktails and craft beers never disappoint. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and I definitely recommend booking a reservation ahead of time—they fill up fast for good reason! Among my friends, this is always a favorite place to eat in Williamsburg.

6. Precarious Beer Project
For a more casual vibe, Precarious is always a good time. They’ve got the best IPAs in the area (in my opinion!), arcade games, and a super family-friendly setup with lots of space indoors and out. No reservations needed here – just stop by! Grab a smash burger or some tacos while you’re there – the food is always so good. Check their social media for what’s going on because they always have something coming up like live music, trivia, and more.

Just a few minutes from downtown, Casa Pearl is one of my absolute favorites for seafood and tacos. The raw oysters, creative seasonal cocktails, and elevated vibe make it a great pick for date night or a more relaxed evening with friends.
